This is the difference our dust free school floor sanding service in Luton can achieve. We completed this project for Waulud Primary School in Luton. This floor had only been sanded the previous year, but there was a large patch where the blocks were lighter than the rest of the floor. As you can see from the images above that we have managed to remove the coloured patch and leave the finger parquet flooring looking much better than it previously did.
AM flooring specialise in school hall floor sanding and restoration ll over the country. As you can see the difference we have made to this school floor above when it was only restored the year before. Using the latest dust free extractors, well maintained floor sanding machinery and the best products for each individual school floor, we are able to achieve such a high standards.
We sanded this floor with 40 grit, 60, grit and 80 grit sanding belt and we used the same grits on the edging sander to blend the edges in to the rest of the parquet floor. We then used our Flexisand Power Drive using 60 grit sanding disks followed by 100 grit sanding disks to make sure the floor was scratch free and had a glass like finish to it. We then changed to a 120 grit sanding mesh to make sure that the floor was finished to the highest standard and ready for vacuuming and sealing.
We then sealed this school halls finger parquet flooring with one coat of Junckers Prelak and 2 coats of Junckers HP One. We also buffed the floor in between coats of lacquer with a 150 grit sanding mesh to remove any risen grain and leave a smoother finish over all.
This school floor sanding project in Luton is now looking beautiful and has hard wearing water based lacquer on it making sure it stands up to all the high traffic it will receive.
