School Hall Floor Sanding In Berkshire

This school hall floor was very slippery and had quite a few coats of seal on the floor as well as having court markings that weren’t sufficient for the sports being played.. We sanded it back to bare wood, levelling out the wood and removing all of the dips from the previous company that sanded it. We also removed the old wood blocks form the climbing frame that were not being used any more.

Lynch Hill School Hall Floor

As you can see from the picture above that the teak floor looks lovely with the new court markings painted on. We applied 1 coat of Junckers Base Prime and 2 coats of Junckers HP Commercial. The court markings are locked in between the 2 coats of HP Commercial to make sure they don’t start chipping away.

Floor sanding has completely transformed this school hall floor making the room appear bigger, adding grip to the surface and giving a fresh new look. Due to the complete transformation we have made of this hall floor, we are probably going to sand and restore the gymnasium wooden floor.
